Veggie Tales
Summer Program
2008 |
|
Sunday sessions begin on June
8th and run through August 24th (no
session on July 6th). The program will
be geared towards children from 3-9
years old with Veggie Tales themed
videos, crafts, songs and activities.
Sessions will be dismissed at the end of
worship.
For a
summer offering, please bring a can of
"veggies" for ECHO.

Sunday Worship
9:50 a.m.
Child care: Child care is provided for infants and young children
to age three during worship.
A professional attendant is on duty 9:50 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
Church School:
Children attend the first part of the worship service.
They hear the scripture read and are present for at least one
hymn and other music of the service. The pastor shares a message
appropriate for children, usually based on the scriptural theme
for the service. At a designated point in the worship service
they leave for Church School which runs until 11:15 a.m.
Healing Service: Included as part of our Sunday
Worship the fifth Sunday of a month as well as during Lent.
This is a service which fosters healing of self, of others or of
the world. It is a time of prayer, scripture readings, anointing
and laying on of hands.

Fellowship Time: Join us
after worship for fellowship and refreshment in our Fireside Room and
get to know our members. |

Accessibility
Attempting to be a faith community which is inclusive rather
than exclusive, First Congregational Church strives to provide a
barrier free environment within our building in order to make
worship and participation in other church programs readily
accessible to all.
